Thanks to our extensive library, DISDH pupils have access to a varied range of German publications even here in the Netherlands. English, Dutch and French literature is also available. In cooperation with the Instituto Cervantes, we have also built up a collection of Spanish publications. And our library stocks books for adults as well as children. Audio CDs, audio books and specialist literature can also be loaned.

Classes often visit the library together during lessons, and pupils can visit the reading room, borrow or return media and browse through the library's collection during their break. Equipped with reference books and computers, the library is also a place where older pupils carry out research and study.

Our library collection is growing continually because we make sure shelves are stocked up with the latest German and international books and media. We also regularly invite authors to hold readings at DISDH.

Thanks to our team of parent volunteers who help out at the lending library and reading room, the library is open from Monday to Friday until the early afternoon. This also gives parents time after school to borrow or return books.
