DISDH Graduates Bid Farewell

The graduates and their families were welcomed with a glass of champagne. Afterwards the ceremony began with a musical introduction. The DISDH School Prinicpal, Uwe Hinxlage addressed the high school graduates and their relatives. Among other topics, the past exciting examination weeks were highlighted. The welcoming words by the German Ambassador to the Netherlands, Mr. Brengelmann, was rounded off by further musical contributions and speeches including the touching and inspirational address given by one of our 2019 graduates. Finally, the students received their “Abitur” certificates and thus reached the official end of their Primary and High School education.
Afterwards, all guests gathered in the DISDH foyer in celebration for a reception where beverages and beautifully prepared hors d'oeuvre were served. Of course, the obligatory "stair photo" with all graduates could not be forgotten.
Four weeks before the beginning of the summer holidays, the DISDH school grounds are now a little more empty. The classroom of our former twelfth graders is suddenly "uninhabited". Nevertheless, the entire school community is overwhelmed by their great success.

We wish them and their families all the best and look forward to welcoming them back soon as "alumni" at DISDH.
