21st DISDH Flea Market was a great success

The DISDH annual Flea Market took place for 21st time on 4 November. The Flea Market was attended by DISDH families and friends as well as a large numbers of guests from within the Dutch community who have made the Flea

Market a set date in their autumn schedules.
The weather was perfect for a long visit at the Flea Market. Outside it rained but inside a cosy atmosphere reigned over the DISDH Sports Hall where buyers and sellers came together. In addition to toys, clothes and household items, good literature for children and adults as well as non-fiction for all ages was on offer.

Whoever got hungry from all the rummaging was welcome to enjoy the delicious cake buffet or sink their teeth into the hearty German specialties including pretzels, potato salad or hotdogs.
Special thanks go to the Flea Market Committee and the BIBI-parents who voluntarily donated their time to organise and run the event. The earnings from the stand rentals as well as the sale of cakes and German specialties are used to buy new books for the school library and make the many readings by well known authors for children and adults at the DISDH possible.
