Twenty kilometres of shelves filled with files, books, records and legacies of institutions and famous citizens of The Hague are kept under the large white City Hall downtown. Here, the DISDH History Activity Group went searching for clues on the topic of “German-Dutch relations”. The students from grades 8 to 12 also learned about the structure of the archives and what is actually stored there. And who would have guessed that for three months Mozart lived in the exact same place where “Primark” stands today?
