After the orientation phase in Grade 5, your child can opt to follow the Gymnasium track. Here we offer our pupils a broad spectrum of subjects in the field of languages and natural sciences, creating the best prospects for their future. With our internationally recognised school-leaving qualification, DISDH pupils can study at universities all over the world. A German Abitur opens doors to study programmes and careers in Germany.

At the DISDH Gymnasium, your child is prepared in the best possible way for all of these challenges. We encourage our pupils to become open-minded citizens of the world. They can approach life's challenges with confidence, successfully follow their chosen path and assume responsibility. We want every child to reach his or her full potential. And we achieve this by offering individual supervision and guidance with a choice of subjects and also during the entire academic year. We also value high teaching standards at DISDH so that we challenge our pupils as effectively as possible. The fact that we were awarded the official quality certificate "Outstanding German School Abroad" speaks for itself.

After 12 years at school, the DISDH Gymnasium pupils take the International High School Diploma (DIA). This internationally recognised qualification is the international version of the German Abitur. DIA proves that your child has an excellent command of English – a key advantage in an international environment.

Thanks to small class sizes, your child receives excellent individual attention and supervision during these two important school years at DISDH. Our teachers are familiar with the strengths, desires and goals of each and every pupil.
