Kinderboeken week - 2017 - children's Book Week from 4 to 15 October
Gruwelijk tight! = Terribly scary! This is the topic of this year's Children's Book Week in the Netherlands. Each year, the Children's Book Week takes place for 11 days. Various activities are organised to help children discover the fun of reading. In bookshops, readings are organised, “Kinderen voor Kinderen” present a song and a dance, and if you buy a book for 10 euros or more during this time, you will get a children's book as a gift. This year’s book is called “Kattensoep”.
At the DISDH, scary stories will be read to the children from grades 1 to 5 during Dutch lessons. The students will get an insight into the event and learn new words.
More information on the readings which will take place at “Paagman” Book shop can be found
We wish you and your children a gruwelijk kinderboekenweek!
