DISDH-students tell their own stories for "AbraPalabra"
As part of German lessons, classes 4a and 4b at DISDH participated in the twelfth Story Competition "AbraPalabra" organised by the KinderAtelier at the Frauenmuseum in Bonn.
"AbraPalabra" is an important part of the Rhine Reading Festival „Käpt´n Book“and is sponsored by the Cultural Department of the City of Bonn. In 2004 the event was launched by Lene Pampolha and Ulrike Tscherner-Bertoldi from the Children's Studio of the Frauenmuseum.
The participation involves writing an adventure story. For their story, "The journey on a refugee boat" Vladimir and Tom won the special prize "Aktualität". A story written by Anna Sophie and Julia can also be found in a book featuring the best stories. We would like to congratulate our winners and praise all the wonderful stories written by our young “authors”.
On Monday 15 March the four students were recognised for their achievements and awarded certificates.
Not only students from Bonn but from all over the world participate
d in this competition which makes us all the more proud to have taken part and achieved such good results.
The submitted stories are illustrated in an annual book which is available for purchase at the price of 9€. If you are interested in buying in please contact
