Students visited University of Münster
Datum Aktivität: 1/8/2016
On Thursday 17 December grades 11 and 12 DISDH students visited the Westfälische Wilhelms-Universität in Münster as part of the study and career guidance programme at our school. With more than 40,000 students and 250 study programs, the University is one of the largest in Germany.
Students had the opportunity to attend three lectures of their own choice. They also listened to a presentation by two students giving some information about studying and living in Münster. They learned about the design of university teaching. Some students participated in discussions with academic advisors getting concrete firsthand information about potential courses. The aim of the trip was to provide our students with insight into students’ life and to make the pupils familiar with an educational institution of this magnitude.
