The DISDH annual Flea Market celebrated its 20th anniversary on 5 November. The Flea Market was visited by families and friends as well as a large number of guests from within the Dutch community who have made the Flea Market a set date in their autumn schedules.
In addition to toys, clothes and household goods, good literature for children and adults, as well as non-fiction for all ages was sold.
Whoever got hungry from all the rummaging was welcome to enjoy the delicious cake buffet or sink their teeth into the hearty German specialties including pretzels, potato salad or hotdogs.
Special thanks goes to the Flea Market Committee and the BIBI-parents who voluntarily donated their time to organise and run the event. The earnings from the stand rentals as well as the sale of cakes and German specialties are used to buy new books for the school library and make the many readings by well known authors for children and adults at the DISDH possible.
We thank all visitors for coming and the excellent atmosphere at this year's DISDH Flea Market.
